Leverage

Hello, everyone. This is my last movie review, and the last one was the first episode of a foreign drama. What did you watch and write? I want to know that what drama is fun, so please tell me if your drama was fun.

 I chose Leverage as my first episode of a foreign drama, because it sounds interesting. It has been watched in America since 2008, and we can watch this on FOX since 2010. I have watched the CM at the FOX channel, and I was interested in the drama.

Nathan Ford, who is the leader and earlier he lost his son. The reason why he lost him was that an insurance company which Nathan was working for before refused to pay for his son’s surgery and that made him die. I thought that it was too hard for Nathan and his wife to overcome his son’s death. If the company paid the money for surgery, the son could survive, and the family would live together with lots of happiness. I felt that they had done many illegal things before they met each other, but the team has done good things from then. Of course, I knew that they have done the same things, but it will rescue lots of weak people who want to leverage the strong power of American society. It made me feel refreshed, because they were heroes like Nezumi Kozou. Nezumi Kozou was a hero who lived in the Edo era, and he stole a lot of money from bad rich man for poor people. So he was loved by around people and he is respected by many people still now.


My favorite scene is when they came together again after they said “good-bye” to each other. I want to continue the team, so when they were coming to Nathan, I was really excited. I want to watch their story more. America has crimes and weapons which are different to Japan, so I felt the drama was just entertainment. However, I want to believe that there are some good men like Nezumi Kozou in Japan still now. “White Knight? or Black King?” This is my favorite words in this drama. I thought that this question is so difficult after watched this. If you watched this drama, I want to know which you choose. I recommend you to watch this drama.

MR-5 Much Ado About Nothing

Hello, everyone. This is my movie review. I watched Much Ado About Nothing as number 5 review. Have you watched the movie? I thought that the story was written by Shakespeare, so it may be difficult to me. However, I could enjoy the movie, so I recommend you to watch this one.

I knew this story was written by William Shakespeare, but I didn’t know what this story was about, so I was looking forward to watching this movie. This movie is kind of a love story and a comedy, but there were sad parts, too. I have read his works, and I’m always absorbed in reading them. Also, I enjoyed this movie. I don’t know all of William Shakespeare’s work now, but I want to know more of his works.

There were two pairs of lovers, and main lovers were Hero, who was daughter of Leonato and Claudio, but I like Beatrice, who was the cousin of Hero and Benedick, who was a companion of Don Pedro, better than Hero and Claudio. Beatrice and Benedick were tricked by the people around them who want them to be fall in love with each other, so they were not in love with each other at first, but they fell in love gradually. I was surprised at their simplicity, and I thought that nobody knows when love starts. The story was about marriage, and Don John, who is Don Pedro’s brother, is upset by the marriage of Hero and Claudio, because he doesn’t like his brother. I was sad, and I want everyone to believe that she was innocent.

My favorite scene is when Beatrice was indignant at Claudio and Don Pedro, and entreated Benedick to duel with Claudio. There were a lot of loves which for Hero or Beatrice in this scene. Benedick said yes to Beatrice, because he loved her. I was really moved, because he had said he didn’t want to be bound in a marriage, but he changed since he fell in love. That was good for him to find a person who he can love. I like Dogberry and Verges, too. I didn’t understand what they were doing at first, because they acted as if they were riding horses. However, they were good at pretending to ride a horse, so I enjoyed their scene. Dogberry was not clever, but he had a great partner who could understand what Dogberry wanted to say. I felt that it was great to come into his mind with so many mistakes, so Shakespeare had great talent. I want to watch more of his works.

MR-4 Monsters, Inc.

I like this movie, so I have watched it many times, and this movie makes me happy and enjoy myself everytime. I think that everyone has memories from when they were children which were scary when they were alone at night.

A town which the monsters live in the movie needs energy for living, and they translated children’s screams into that power. The monster’s job was scaring children, but they were afraid of children, too. My favorite character is Mike who has only one eye and yellow green skin. He is a good friend of Sulley who is the main character in this movie, and he has fallen in love with Celia who has only one eye, too. He is a monster who is easily elated, but he is kind to Boo who is a human girl. I like him, because he is a really good monster and he can make people who around him laugh. When I watched him, I could know that the most important thing in life is friendship.

Also, I know that Mike is loved all over the world, because he often appears other Disney movies like Finding Nemo, Cars, WALL-E and Toy Story 3. I want to find where he appears when I watch these movies. My favorite scene is when Mike fixed up the door to Boo’s room, and presented it to Sulley. Sulley became the president of their company, and the company changed the way they made the power which they need. They decided to translate children’s laughter into that power, because the laughter is stronger than screams and they don’t want to be scare children anymore. The company became more and more prosperous, but as he passed every day, he still felt grief because he could never meet Boo again. Mike fixed that up for Sulley, so his hand has a lot of splinters looking for those piecesand putting them together. I was really moved by Mike’s consideration for Sully.

I want to be like him. This movie was made by Walt Disney Pictures and Pixar Animation Studios, and they always make enjoyable movies and give us lots of wonderful moments. I have great news about their next movie. Monsters University, which is the sequel to Monsters, Inc, will begin playing around the world in 2013. I am looking forward to watching the next movie. I decided to watch this movie again before I go to watch new one.

MR-3 Twilight

Hello, everyone. This is my movie review, and the movie is Twilight. Have you watched the movie?
I like it very much, so if you had time, please watch it.

I am going to write about Twilight which is a love story of a girl and a vampire. The movie was based Twilight which was written by Stephenie Meyer, and I have read the book once. I was surprised that the director, Catherine Hardwicke, was a woman, because I didn’t hear that the director was a woman. She made a great movie which had beautiful views. I like watching the scenes a which included nature.

 The main characters were human a and vampires. Bella Swan moved in Forks which was a setting of the story, because her mother remarried and Bella wanted to live with her father so her mother could be with her new husband. I thought that Bella was a good girl, because she chose that way for her mother not for her. Edward Cullen, who is a vampire, and over 100 years old, fell in love with her. The members of Cullen family had very white skin, and they were so beautiful. My favorite character in this movie is Alice Cullen who is Edward’s sister. I like her, because she kind to Bella and she wanted to be Bella’s friend. I thought that vampires drink human’s blood, so they think human is just a meal. However, all of the Cullens are so kind. It was not good for people who watched this movie to feel scared. When I finished watching, I had believed a little that there are vampires in this world.

My favorite scene is when a car on the verge of crushing Bella, and Edward rescued her. I breathed a sigh of relief when I saw that she was saved. I think that accidents like this one are not rare, and if that accident happened in my school, I will be really sad. Charlie, who is her father, didn’t forgive Tyler Crowley, who was driving the car, and I could understand Charlie’s feeling. It’s a different point from Japan to come to school by car like they do in an American high school. I think that America is very large, so the students maybe take a long time to come to school. I like watching movies where I could know about the school life of a foreign country not only this one, because I like to compare the school life in Japan with other countries. I enjoyed this movie, so I want to watch this series.

MR-2 Drumline

I have not watched drum line until I watched this movie, because there are no famous marching bands with a drumline in Japan. Drumline means marching band, I think. When I watched this movie at the first time, I was really excited, because the beat was so fast. I couldn’t believe that the beats were made by the people who were in the movie.

My favorite scene is when Devon Miles, who is the most important drummer in this movie, graduated from his high school. When he changed the beat, people looked like they were having fun. I thought that this movie must be interesting for me, because the first scene made me excited. The most shocking thing was Devon couldn’t read music. I can’t play any musical instruments, so I thought that it’s OK, because he has great rhythm. However, the marching band must be in one united body, and it was hard to teach him how to read the score, because everyone needs more effort for themselves. I felt that if he was not too self-conscious but kind to everyone, people who loved him would teach him that. I think that he was intoxicated with his talent, and that was his only fault. I think that is normal and just human. Everyone, including heroes in history, have some faults, so we want to be perfect.

On the other hand, Sean who was Devon's percussion leader, doesn’t miss his efforts for drum line, so he was respected people who are members. However, he was not perfect, too. He was jealous of Devon’s talent, and wanted him to go away. This movie showed us such a dark side of people, but when we finished watching we can be refreshed. That is a great point of this movie, and I was really moved. The last scene when Devon took part in the band finally and they won was so exciting, and I cheered for them without realizing it. I want to feel the band with my eyes and ears. If the band like drum line are in Japan, it will be great cheering for members of sports.

MR-1 Up

Good morning, everyone. This is my movie review. I watched Up, and the movie was great, so I want everyone to watch this movie. Who is your favorite character?

I watched this, Up which was made by Disney Pixar. I have watched this movie many times, because the movie makes me happy, fun and a little sad. Up is called ‘the flying house of an old man, Carl’ in Japan. Why did they change the title to Up? I really look up to people who named these movies in different languages, because they have to understand what say about the movie, and moreover the name of movie needs to be fascinate people. I think that it’s great job. I love Russell who is a regular character in the movie, because he is cute and very interesting. Russell is very kind to everyone, so he was loved by the people around him and animals. He is a good child in spite of having some family trouble, and he is able to be kind to others. He can do that easily, so I want him to be happy.

 I love Dug which is a dog can speak, too. I want to talk with my dogs like that, because I can’t understand what they want. If they can speak in Japanese, we will get along better than now. I watched a short movie which was Dug’s story in the DVD. It was the story which was the birthday wish of Dug. When I finished watching the story, I felt that it was good for Dug and Carl to meet each other. The wish that he wanted a new master was fulfilled. Dug didn’t get along well with other dogs, but he was not wrong. I really glad to watching the scene which Carl said I am your master to Dug. I want Dug to help and take care of Carl, because he is an old man and had lost his precious wife. I felt Carl’s happiness when he was together with Ellie, and I have known everyday they have happiness even though the happiness is very small and if we live together with our precious people it makes the thing called life. Carl had lost the most important part of his heart, but Russell brings it back the part. This movie was great.
