The Best Day of My Life

I am going to tell you about the best day of my life. I went to Okinawa with my family when I was 15 years old. My father was a member of the Ground Self-Defense Forces, and my family had lived in Okinawa 16 years ago. I was born in Okinawa, and I lived in there for 3 years. I had never gone to Okinawa since then, so I when I went to Okinawa, it was after a long time. My parents knew a lot of informations about Okinawa, and they have a lot of friends there even now.

We went to around the city, and we saw the hospital where I was born. My parents told us lots of stories from those days. I was glad to hear to the stories. We went to a lot of sightseeing spots, too. When I went to an aquarium, I watched moving sights. The aquarium is one of the most famous aquariums in Japan, and it is called Churaumi. Chura is from the Okinawa dialect, and it means beautiful in English. Umi means sea in English, so Churaumi means beautiful sea in English. I think it is a good name. Also, we went to a memorial hall of the Second World War. There were lots of people, and everyone looked sad. There were letters to mothers which were written by members of the special attack corps called kamikaze in English. I felt that it is too sad for mothers and boys, and I thought we must not forget that they were living.

Okinawa has many beautiful beaches, and I like to see them. I was seeing the beaches while our trip. There were some people who were playing in the sea, and I really envied that. I thought that times go slowly in Okinawa, so I could enjoy my trip. I want to go to Okinawa with my family again.　This is the best day of my life.

Chang lived with his three sons－Yong, Chin and Ying. When Chang passed away, the brothers said to Ying that you can take a little money except our money. Ying is very kind boy, so he had given all of his money to poor people in his village. After he was gone out the village by his brothers, he keeping good person. When he met a monk, Ying tried to do that the monk wants to do. After all the monk gave to Ying an old straw mat, a wooden spoon and a pair of chopsticks. That are magic things. I thought that “One who is kind to others is sure to be rewarded”. Kind is good for people, and myself. It is not easy for us to keeping good person, but kind is good for you someday.
