MR-2 Drumline

I have not watched drum line until I watched this movie, because there are no famous marching bands with a drumline in Japan. Drumline means marching band, I think. When I watched this movie at the first time, I was really excited, because the beat was so fast. I couldn’t believe that the beats were made by the people who were in the movie.

My favorite scene is when Devon Miles, who is the most important drummer in this movie, graduated from his high school. When he changed the beat, people looked like they were having fun. I thought that this movie must be interesting for me, because the first scene made me excited. The most shocking thing was Devon couldn’t read music. I can’t play any musical instruments, so I thought that it’s OK, because he has great rhythm. However, the marching band must be in one united body, and it was hard to teach him how to read the score, because everyone needs more effort for themselves. I felt that if he was not too self-conscious but kind to everyone, people who loved him would teach him that. I think that he was intoxicated with his talent, and that was his only fault. I think that is normal and just human. Everyone, including heroes in history, have some faults, so we want to be perfect.

On the other hand, Sean who was Devon's percussion leader, doesn’t miss his efforts for drum line, so he was respected people who are members. However, he was not perfect, too. He was jealous of Devon’s talent, and wanted him to go away. This movie showed us such a dark side of people, but when we finished watching we can be refreshed. That is a great point of this movie, and I was really moved. The last scene when Devon took part in the band finally and they won was so exciting, and I cheered for them without realizing it. I want to feel the band with my eyes and ears. If the band like drum line are in Japan, it will be great cheering for members of sports.

My favorite music

Hello, everyone. This is my typing homework, and the topic is My favorite music. I think that everyone like music, so we spend every day with music.

My favorite singer is JUJU who is woman singer, because she has clear voice, so her songs are very beautiful. I like listening to her song, so I have a lot of her song in my cell phone, and I have listened to her song when I have free times. I like listening to soundtracks of movies and dramas, because I can recall scenes which I have watched when I hear the music. I really respect for people who make the soundtracks, because I can’t make it never and there are not same music of movies and dramas, so the people make it from the beginning. That’s great. I am always surprised at only one music in the movie makes us fun, scary, excited, sad, moved, and happy. I think that the music is one of the magic.

BR2-5 Rip Van Winkle andTHe Legend of Sleepy Hollow

This book has two different story, and I read both of them, so I am going to write two book review at once. First, I finished reading Rip Van Winkle. I have heard that story’s name, but I have not read ever. I thought that this is like Urashima Taro. I don’t know which was first. However, I like Rip Van Winkle better than Urashima Taro, because Urashima Taro was end when he came back to real world. The other hand, Rip Van Winkle was written after he came back, and the ending looked so happy, so I like this better than that. I have known Washington Irving who is one of the most famous writers in the world, and I have watched the movie which is The Legend of Sleepy Hollow. It was little scary for me, but very interesting one, and that is his famous work. Johnny Depp was in the movie as the main character of it, and I have watched it many times include in a class of history of American literature. I didn’t know who is bad and who will survive until the last scene, so I was excited.

New Restaurant
